Anyone do a comparison between these batteries yet? I have 8000's and but I'm going to start running them two in parallel now and these things are 823 grams each. The 6200's are 580 grams so it would save 243 grams if I started using the 6200's. I was just curious what the trade off is?
Nobody tried this comparison? Well I will be the first to do so I just orderd two 6200's. Also rumor has it that Freefly is coming out with a 9000 compact battery soon? Anyone here about this or see a picture?
Are you referring to these? http://forum.freeflysystems.com/index.php?threads/freefly-flight-packs.813/
Right now real light! No camera, no gimbal! I'm in the process of converting my 2 axis gimbal to a 3 axis and will do some preliminary tests with the go pro 3 and then the sony 760.
I would like to know if the manufacturer of the QC's is the same as these new Freefly's ? I asked in another thread if anybody knows who makes these and I guess there is no info on this but I have found my QC 6200's to get pretty mushy after about 15-20 flights. I do have 10 of them so this isn't some shot in the dark but an overall experience for me compared to my thunder powers. I would be interested in the new ones but not if they are from the same manufacturer. For me they may be a little low in the C rating as well and specially if they aren't repackaged TP's or Ace's which are true to the rating or at least closer than the rest.
Now that we have high mAH packs available (8000/30C & 9000/25C) I'm curious to know how they compared to a lower mAH packs with a higher C rating such as TP 5300mAH/65C?
Howard: Did you see this: http://forum.freeflysystems.com/index.php?threads/comparing-lipo-batteries.962/ I'd be happy to test a pair of TP 5300's if someone could supply them.... Andy.
