Beautiful setup Tabb! I use a 1520 case for my lipos but it isn't setup as pretty as tabby tabbs When traveling by air I usually tape the connectors and tuck them down inside so they're not so visible. The less visible wires the better when it comes to those TSA buffoons. The other thing when traveling by air with my 1520 case is you have to carry it on so needless to say that thing becomes heavy after a short while with all those lipos inside. I need to locate a small collapsible roller dolly for it
Do you guys take your batteries out of your cases when you go through? I carry 8 large batteries at a time. I take them all out and the last 3 times through TSA they don't even swab them... they ask what they are. I tell them, they say ok have a nice day. Josh
No, I never take them out unless asked after going through the scans. Had them swabbed on several occasions.
Consider getting screened for TSA PreCheck. I haven't had those guys open any of my batt cases ever. It's worth the process if you travel frequently. Keeping shoes on is another civilized bonus. nick
I now have the honor to test one 4S 9000 atm. Very nice form, 150gram lighter then my 10400 DP lipos. Yesterday at -5 celcius first flight I had 9:35min, with my Cs6, 360, all in about 6250gram. After flight I had about 3.72/cell, and the mc32 said I used up 9322maH.. Say what? The inner resistance between 1.8-2.9/cell. Abit high but still ok for first charge/discharge (my DP's are about 1-1.5 after 50+ cycles). Will be interesting to see how it behaves after 10+ cycles. But it's very handsome
