The movies made by the M10 looks fabulous, but are mostly very fast moving motives and the operator mostly running. I want to get stabilized shots when walking slowly for as long durations as possible, e g 30-60 minutes. What kind of problems will that cause? I think mostly about the strength of my arms. If one wants to have the camera in eye-level, then I suppose that it will be most tiresome. If holding the gimbal in a downstretched arm it should be easier but the perspective may not be optimal for my needs. I do have a Steadicam Pilot and the M10 FAQ says that it is very possible to use it together with the M10 (and the M5?). Has anyone experience of this combination? Sverker
You might get tired carrying the weight. On second thought get someone that looks like THOR to carry it Might want to look at an Easy Rig.
I am not prepared to work out to look like Thor ... But the Easyrigs look quite like what I need. Certainly seems to be easier with the M10 and M5 than a Steadicam vest and arm - I have still to make the Pilot to work properly. Thanks for the tip. Sverker
Some other quick´n dirty but very special construction for this kind of shots… keeping the cam at the same height all the walk… ;-) Actually tested this for a long walk´n talk and it worked out surprisingly well…..
