Howdy... Does anyone know if it's possible to set a maximum speed for climb or descent in AH? When I'm quite high, it's fairly difficult to tell how fast I'm climbing or descending, and it'd be great if there was a 'max' option where I could give it quite a bit of stick, but be sure I'm not speeding up or down too fast... Ben how about turning on acoustic vario on the Altitude tab and yo can listen to it on the speaker/earphone?
I use the Variometer that comes as part of the Smart On Screen Display to control the copter's rate of ascent/descent. I tried the acoustic variometer (which I know and love from my sailplane flying days), but found it to be a bit too approximate. The SOSD Vario allows me to "fly" the variometer and ramp up/down ascent/descent speeds. Andy.
