What kind of range are you getting when flying your MoVI? We seem to loose MoVI control around 100 yards. That was with our MoVI10. We just setup the MoVI5 with the Specktum 8 and waiting to test once this crazy storm rolls through. But I'm curious what others are getting in range distance.

You should be able to get about 1.5km with Spektrum so there must be something wrong here. Is there a lot of interference or 2.4GHz users in the areas you have been using the kit?

Hard to say, we've flown the M10 twice. First place was a close set off a road in the mountains / country. 2nd spot was 4 hours away back at my house at a park.

looking forward to testing the M5 and seeing if we run into the same issue.

Yes something isn't right. We have flown the M10 as far out as 1500 ft and not lost control.

Richard it might simply be that the satellite receiver is being shielded from line of sight to the transmitter. Similar issue with them on copters. Also possibly antenna orientation on the transmitter. try the antenna with it at a 90 degree angle, not straight out, parallel to the long side of the receiver. That is the best position for radiated power.

    Gary's absolutely correct.
If you still have problems, could you post an image of your setup, showing antenna position and orientation, please?

    Thanks
    Andy.
