I bought M3X25X4.5 standoffs from MSC #77124410 which raised the flight control board board about 3/8's of an inch. As you can see by the picture it gives that extra room so that the flight control board is above the motor cables.

I have about 3/8" of an inch clearance under the battery try.

Nice, yes that works well and for multiple boards you are going to need to raise the battery as well. The only thing you might find is more unstable AH due to more wind getting to it. I didn't notice much of a change and don't use AH too much but Ive see some folks comment on that after raising the FC too high. ;)

Dave, one concern with those tall standoffs -- you now have the FC hard-mounted to the hub instead of mounted using rubber stand-offs.
I'd be concerned that the vibration from the hub will now more easily feed into the FC/Acc/Gyros and that might be a problem.

Let us know if you see any weird behavior. From the copter that is.... ;)

I think the rubber ones are under them... I hope :)

    HI Andy

The 25mm standoffs I used screw into the rubber standoff's that are bolted to the hub :) Here's a better picture that illustrates. Essentially these standoff's give 10mm (0.393 inch) more clearance for the pig tail motor wires.

I don't think there will much of an issue because of the air pressure sensor mod. I have velcro with a hole punched in the middle on the center.

Interesting. If you are using the QC motors did they change to a split plug on the motor ends? They don't look like the bullets I have.

Gary, I got a replacement motor a few months back that had this new split connector. It actually seemed to fit tighter
