Hey guys.. Just curious what the best way is to deal with the small cables (IMU/Motor) when you want to plug/unplug..

    Thanks!

Justin when/why would you need to unplug the cables?

Thanks Austin.. Not sure that's the best thing though? I though there might be a grabber for both sides?

Gary, I've already replaced my IMU cable. I also like to be able to check for any oxidation, or corrosion that could build up.. Also, just to check if its seated properly.

Well a spudger is pretty standard for your toolbox for any electrical type of project.

As for a double-sided grabber, I have a great set. They don't scratch the electronics, are pretty strong, and they almost last a lifetime. Here's a photo for your reference:

    Heheheheh… ;)

I think I have the same concern as Gary -- if you frequently unplug/re-plug the connectors, you might be doing more harm than good.
Just gently pushing the connector in to the socket is OK, but I fret about pulling on the connector/wires repeatedly.

I suppose my shapeless fear falls under the description of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." :)

    Andy.

Justin unless you snag one they shouldn't be coming loose. If you find that you have one that needs to be repeatedly pushed in for contact perhaps contact support folks. Might be something they can fix more permanately under warranty.

Ok, then let me rephrase my question.. If I need to replace my IMU cable, what's the best way to remove it?
