Cinestar 8 with MK stack. GPS, NC.
    Quadrocopter motors.
    2x Cinestar Gimbal, brushless converted.
Problem with the small yawcorrections happening every now and then ...:-(
FW MK 2.0, but the problem was the same in earlier version.
Compass calibration done more than once, no differense.
Any ideas how to get rid of these problems?

    Janne:

    1. Do you have a GPX file from this flight please?
    2. Do you see the same problems when the gimbal is powered off? (I'm just speculating for possible clues here).
    3. Do you have FPV and can you record the FPV video and post a link to it? (An FPV camera is usually hard mounted to boom #1 so is a good reference for horizontal vibrations/yawing.)
    4. Do these problems happen while you are using Position Hold and/or Altitude Hold or not?

I'm searching for ways to simplify the overall system to see if you can make the problem go away -- and then you can add stuff back in and see when the problem re-appears.

    Andy.

Janne it appears you have a 2axis gimbal, where you said 2X Cinestar Gimbal, brushless converted. If that is correct then yaw wouldn't be a gimbal issue.

Gary: What I was wondering was more how we could simplify the electronics so eliminate possible sources of interference so switching off the gimbal might be interesting only if the problem stops when the gimbal's off.

I could be wrong but to me it looks like its a classic condition of trying to fly straight in "windy" condition with PH on. I find that my copter is much better with PH off in windy conditions. IF you flying with PH off make sure your yaw trim is centered. It's very easy to bump your trim switches by accident if you are using an MX20.
