I'm changing motors on my second cinestar, do I need to re-throttle calibrate the esc's? Or should the first throttle calibration still be good? I'm using the same transmitter.

    Thanks!

I don't think so, Chris. The calibration of the ESC's is more so that the ESCs know what "full throttle" and "no throttle" settings look like. I don't think it depends on the motors. The throttle idle setting is motor dependent as motors start to spin at different settings, just in case that should be a relevant observation.

I agree, and the time to check is not when the copter has just headed for the stratosphere or center punched terra firma! :)

You don't mention which ESC system you are running. May be different for different brands.

    G'Day Chris,

I recently found that min gas settings had to be adjusted to get all motors to spin at idle after doing a single motor change, and recalibrating the I2C converter resolved the issue, making all motors spin up at the same levels again.

So I didn't do anything to the ESC, but I did recall the I2C converter.

    Cheers
    Chris

I would simply follow the calibration procedure in the WM manual, I think they have one that is pretty simple. No need to do them individually.
