    I go this message on one of my flights last night as I was testing my new Mondo extreme.
    Errors / warnings:

    I2C errors: 073
    Error "Waypoint range" (25) occured 17 times!
    FC-Flag "LowBat" (5) occured 2 times!
    NC-Flag "Range Limit" (2) occured 1 times!

    I don't even have a way point programed or carefree enabled in MK tools. I attached the GPX file.
    I also have the 500 meter license in the GPX card exactly how QC to me to put it the file structure. I'm not trying to do any waypoints, just flying manually.

    Can you post a screen shot of the directory structure of your microSD card Dave?
    If you do an upgrade of your NC card, you should see confirmation that your commercial GPS license is ok (or not) so try re-upgrading the NC card (to the same version of the firmware that you have now) just to see what that message says.

    Here's a screen shot of what the file structure is.
    Where in the NC card will I see the confirmation? I have the latest nav firmware.

    The file structure appears OK. The license file is in the "root" directory -- namely it's at the top of the file structure and not buried inside a folder.

    You don't see a confirmation "in the NC card," Dave. You see it on the screen briefly (like for about five seconds) when you upgrade the NC card's firmware. To force it to appear, just "upgrade" the NC card with the firmware you already have installed -- it doesn't do any harm to re-install the same version. However, don't use Xbee/BlueTooth to do the upgrade -- use the MK USB adapter and cable.

    Don't think so. I've only ever seen the license-related message doing a upgrade to the NC firmware.

    Have you done a search on the MK Wiki site? Also post on the forum to see if Holger or someone can help.

    I never really used that site as its hard to use IMO. Holger is on vacation for a month which is why he left 91 a beta version. I haven't seen that error since the very first flight I had with the new 90J firmware.

    Lots of information and Google Translate will auto translate the pages if you use Chrome. Holger is on vacation in July according to the .91 announcement.

    I hear ya Gary. I just thought for sure that 2nd screen shot verifies 500 meters. Can anyone without the 500 meter license see if they get the same thing?

    The second shot shows that units of ms -- that's milliseconds not meters, I think. So I think what you're seeing is a display of the frequency at which the KML and GPX file logging occurs. See this wiki page: http://www.mikrokopter.de/ucwiki/en/NaviCtrl_2.0#en.2BAC8-NaviCtrl_1.1.SETTINGS.INI and scroll down to the section on SETTINGS.INI.

    What I'm curious about is why GPX logging is shown at 500 ms -- the default is 1000 ms, I thought. Did you change that, Dave?

    No I haven't changed it. I wouldn't even know how.

    Can you look at the contents of your SETTINGS.INI file -- it's just an ordinary text file so you can open it in Notepad or Wordpad. Just curious as to what the contents are. You can copy and paste them into a posting if that's easier rather than re-typing them.

    Thanks
    Andy.

    Hmm. I'll check my microSD card when I get a chance. I didn't think that GPXLOGGING was at 500 ms. It might not be until tomorrow that I can do that though. (In the interim someone else might also be able to verify what the default setting is.)

    Dave: Here's my SETTINGS.INI file -- as far as I can see the only difference is that your NC board will be logging GPX data once every 500 ms (0.5 seconds) instead of every 1000 ms (1.0 seconds).

    If I were you, delete the SETTINGS.INI file from the microSD card. I will automatically be recreated when you next power up the NC board. You might then want to check it again and see what the GPXLOGGING value is set to.

    Andy.

    Here's where you see the the GPS license message when you use MK Tool to update the firmware on the Navigation Control board.

    Andy Thanks :)

    I will do that right now as I will be flying today. I deleted the settings ini file as soon as I upgraded to 90J. Riley sent me the FCB with 90G and I upgraded it to 90J and deleted the ini file. What you see above is what was created by the NAV board at the initial flight that had the way point and distance errors you see above. But I will delete it again now.

    I bet you had to have just the right timing to hit print screen to capture that info. :D

    Andy I deleted the configuration file and went out flying. Here's what I get now. It's a little different. It's added two lines in bold below.

    # KML logging interval in ms (0 = disabled)
    KMLLOGGING = 500

    # max. altitude in m
    MAX_FLYING_ALT = 0
    # max. range in m
    MAX_FLYING_RANGE = 0
    # Auto-descend range in m (0 = disabled) (only comm. License)
    DESCEND_RANGE = 0
    # GPS SBAS mode (0 = off, 1 = on)
