Someone's using a gyro as a vibration isolator.

I can't see how this would work but someone is claiming they are bolting their gimbal straight to their copter without any vibration isolators and instead using a gyro to counter the vibrations..?

Surely this couldn't be true??

 

No no not a gyro camera a gyro like you would use to steady a steadicam.
