Hello - this is probably a Pan Axis Balance issue. What I would like is to lock the pan axis so that when I move my body the camera pans with the movement as if I were shooting handheld and use my hips to pan. What I'm getting is a lag to start and finish the pan so I'm unable to nail framing especially at the end of shots. I'm still playing with various tuning/stiffness combos but am hoping someone here has already figured out the solution. Thanks for any and all help. Best, Charles
Decreasing the pan window to 5 or less will help but you will also get more of a handheld look.. in that your taking away stabilization effectively. Try lowering the pan window and playing with the pan smoothness to get the feel you desire.
Thanks Gary and Brad - I've tried decreasing the setting in Pan Window all the way to 0 to no avail. I'll just keep tinkering with different combos of settings.
