I wonder why Freefly does not include cases with their products? A cardboard box just does not cut it for a professional shipping solution, even at the 50% reduced prices. The MoVI Controller reusable foam was a step in the right direction, but still, a premium for cardboard.
I'd like to know whats underneath the space for the M5 in the case. I see they used the top wedge for room. The M5 itself is lying flat in that case so the bottom wedge is going to be mostly empty. My current solution which reused the Free Fly Foam that it came with in a Pelican case provides me with much better use of the space and also lies flat. The case I got was bigger but I prefer making better use of space with a bigger case then having unused space below the M5.
The space under the M5 is where the stand fits into the case. The M5 does fit in the case with the Toad in the Hole installed.
Will this case work for a M5 configured with the MR kit for aerial work? What are folks using to transport MōVIs with the MR kit? I imagine the legs will have to come off, right?
