    Hi all,

I want to get away from the LiPO and use our own batteries instead.

Assuming the batteries have the correct voltage etc, can I cut off the jst connector from the battery and attach it to a DTAP female cable? To me it looks like the jst has only pos/neg on it. Am I correct?

    Thanks,

That's correct, Veve. Just don't let the smoke out of the wires! :)

Be really careful with Polarity when working with FF stuff - for whatever reason, they seem to be reversed on most connections from what we'd otherwise consider *normal* polarity based on all our other gear. Always ALWAYS ***ALWAYS*** meter test before completing your connections.

We posted a video a while back on a handy way to *fix* the DC out polarity on the Movi Controller.

Absolutely correct. Getting the polarity wrong is one thing you do only once.....for each set of wires, batteries, and equipment (if it's not protected against reverse polarity).
