    We are shooting a documentary on spey fishing for steelhead on the Olympic Peninsula and are looking for a drone owner/operator to execute aerials for the project.

    Please respond to this post with your rates and availability and a link to your demo reel


    The dates are 3/18 to 3/21
    Location: Forks, WA



    Requirements:

    The drone must be capable of flying a RED Epic

    Must be able to fly at 60mph or higher

    Hi Scott:
    There are several folks who fly Red Epics on the forum, but > 60 mph might be a problem. I'm not sure what the maximum speed of a Cinestar might be.

    You will need a heli for those speeds. A RED hauling drone will not have enough power to sustain any speed above 40mph for any reasonable amount of distance...safely.

    Scott, I would think the mx forward speed of a CS8 is around 35mph. That about the fastest I've flown mine and also hovered in 30 mph winds at an extreme angle. Andy is right in that for those speeds you would need either a traditional copter or fixed wing option.
