I stumbled across EMI-shielding heat-shrink today. Thought I'd share. http://www.wirecare.com/product.asp?pn=WC02769229 I emailed the wire care people to ask about weight and if it needed to be grounded. Will post an update when they respond if anyone is interested.
The real problem, based on my experience, is that on aircraft there's no such thing as "ground" -- just the negative side of the battery -- and if there is noise sizzling on the negative rail (which there often seems to be), it's not clear how much good it will do to have the shield also sizzling with that same noise. Do we have any EE's out there who can comment, please? Andy.
I tried this once with some emi shielding cable myself. It was a waste of time and effort. Your best to shorten and twist all your cables and move different things ie buzzer etc around until the problems go away
