drone-bar.jpg The Black Armored Drone 12 rotor Duo-Hexacopter by Intuitive Aerial can lift 9kgs of camera, including Red Epic, Sony F5, GV LDX and all with full size PL, cine lenses, 3 lens motors and a full HD downlink.

Here's a new Pan bar controller that's really great for professional cinematography. Can support both Futaba (for the Black Armored Drone) or Spektrum protocols and has the option of hand-wheels for those that prefer.

And the Black Armor can be yours for the single payment price of $50,000. They had it at NAB. The photo does not give the massive scale. That's a RED in the cradle...

That's a lot of fancy carbon work; but considering the components used- T-motors, etc, not sure if the price tag justifies it. Beyond looking like a McLaren designed spider, is there anything that this system offers that can't be done with a 6s CS8?

Just a thought, it might be able to take a 9KG load but with everything else, would that not drive it over the 20kg UK limit once you add in the batteries etc?

Pan axis gimball cant be moved so with some camera copter is out off balance. Landing gear is a huge air wing so pan motor probably suffers while flying this thing. Did not see raw footage so cant say.
Motors are different on each model i see so hard to say what are they using now. If it was tigers then 9kg payload is not doable or they count bateries, gimball and camera in the payload. Still a mistery.
Antivibration wire dampers- copter sits on them when it lands which leads to wire damage so not a good solution.
Aleksmos gimbal with some fancy carbon so i question the performance but it fits 2x red so its huge.
DJI video link is in the package LOL. Well the guys at NAB dont know tehnical details so they belive the broshure. This is how this goes so nice presentation and publicity sels until you get 2 or 3 unlucky customers. That is the turning point for all new guys that they build them.
