I have to use alot of stength and effort to adjust my pan balance. Have anyone developed a easy method to do this?
i have my m15 rigged with a RED dragon so its quite heavy. shifting the backwards and forwards for pan balance is very difficult.
I always support below the camera with one hand and lift very slightly to take weight off of the pan clamps. Use other hand to slide the clamps along tube.
Is there any heavy scratches or dirt on tube? Any grooves worn in? Wonder if you can put a little lube on tube to help. Something that won't attract dirt. Small amount of silicone spray? Although that might impede that clamping ability of those clamps on tube. I know on Jibs you have to watch lubes for same reason.
Hahaaaa I don't know, but I was wondering when freefly we will release millimeter screw to be more efficient in balancing? We all agree that balancing is played tenths of a millimeter. With what is there now is not easy. And on top of that, it scratch the carbon tubes..
