Tabb, can you post some photos of the assembly? I just received the set but am unsure where the bone pieces and washers go. Those aren't shown on the Facebook photo you posted.
I have a problem balancing my small nex camera on the tilt axie, do these adjustable tilt bars help with that problem??
Spyde: It depends on the nature of the problem you're having. With the belt removed, are you finding that the camera behaves like a pendulum and always wants to swing back to a central position, or are you finding that it flops forwards or backwards. If it's either of these, then yes the adjustable tilt bar may indeed help as it allows you to raise or lower the camera until it's CoG is on the tilt axis. (It will also help balance the camera in the roll axis too -- for the same reasons). Or is there another problem? Andy.
Hi Brad, I am out and don't have a photo on my phone. Basically the washer goes under the screw head, the carbon dogbones with press nuts go on the other side of the clamp for the screw to go into. Hope that makes sense??
Hi Brad, In this photo you can see the washer under the screw head, then on the other side of the assembly is the carbon piece with press nuts for the screw to thread into. Hope this helps Tabb http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...6436392.-2207520000.1351704009&type=3&theater
Yes the camera is to low to being able to have it in CG so if i can adjust it up it would help on my problem. But on the pictures i have seen it looks like the destence from the top screw holes and down is the same as the originale one
Hi Spyde, we will be releasing another adjustable tilt bar for small cameras in the near future. Thanks! Tabb
Spyde: Did you see this thread? It's how I solved the problem -- specifically look for message #10 and the image it contains. Hope this helps. Andy.
