Steve the M10 is about 3.5 lbs. MR10 is supposed to be a bit lighter. So it would add about a 8 oz to flying weight. Hope this helps.
Freefly wins Black Diamond Award at NAB. The Digital Video Black Diamond Awards recognize outstanding achievement in the advancement of video technology.
Well being a quiet member I don't usually jump in an post things but I had to post this. Yesterday I had the pleasure of both meeting and hanging out with the Freefly team at NAB. First what a great group of extremely talented and brilliant people. Nick, it was great to hang with you (thanks for putting up with me) FYI Mr. Maller you just have to have one of these. I personally can't wait for mine to arrive. Thanks again to Tabb and his team you are all such wonderful people and I wish you all the greatest success.
Nicely said, Steve (Price). You're also correct, Steve (Maller) definitely needs one. We'll be setting up a Kickstarter project any day now.... Andy.
You know Andy I am an old Rocker from the 70's (I'm sure Steve (Maller) being from Half Moon Bay and all might remember the band, but I am still active as a musician so you think I should put out a tip jar for him FYI I have never formally thanked you for all you do. So there it's official you ROCK!
I grew up in LA, and having graduated high school in 1977, you guys were totally on my playlist (although I think we called them cassettes back in the day). What a hoot! Welcome to the forum, Pablo...err...Steve.
Thanks for the kind words. I'm impressed with anyone who was a rocker from the 70s and still remembers it. I grew up in the 60s but I don't remember it. 50's yes, 70's yes. 60's. Nope. Gone. Weren't they 8-tracks back then Steve, or was that earlier? Andy.
8-tracks were gone by the mid 70's, at least where I lived. Lots of cars still had 'em, of course, but cassettes had completely taken over by then.
OK just for the record since Steve (Maller) has totally busted me we were on 8 tracks wow I am that old. I should probably update my picture. OBTW Steve I really liked the head gear.
Hey guys, it's been an incredibly fun, exciting and hectic week here in Las Vegas. Having the opportunity to meet so many of you in person was a true pleasure. Thanks for stopping by and looking forward to chatting more with all of you down the road! nick
A couple of more photos and video. The video is from day one and the Freefly booth was jammed like this for most of the show. This the Black Diamond award. This is the equivalent of a best of show award. Left to right, Hugh, Nick, Tabb, Vincent. Everyone wants better video downlinks. This item should fit the bill. Mount it to the roof of your vehicle. Range...unlimited. Price.....Priceless. Even the rich and famous stopped by. And the Cinestar HL with the MōVI
