I'm just installing the production Radians. Images 3, 4, and 5 in the Radian documentation show that the roll potentiometer has been removed. Is this just for visual clarity of how to install, or do we actually need to remove the potentiometer? There's no reference to physically removing the potentiometer in the Radian manual (other than to say they're not used). I have a funny feeling that removing the potentiometer might be a Bad Thing..... Thanks Andy

Hi I got my gimbal a month ago I have not taken it apart yet, so I have some basic questions...ok so take the 2 potentiometer copletly off I take it that the shaft that holds the wheel on the roll is not part of the potentiometer, what about the tilt if I take the potentiometer of what shaft does the tilt pivot on? thanks
Hi JLO, to remove the roll potentiometer just remove the mounting bracket and loosen the setscrew in the roll pulley that holds the pot shaft. You can then remove the roll pot. For the tilt pot you need to leave that installed for now to support that part of the gimbal. We will offer a bearing and shaft option for that half of the gimbal in the future. Best, Tabb
