Yes it does. It also has Multiple ¼” and ⅜” tapped mounting holes. http://store.freeflysystems.com/collections/movi-accessory/products/ninja-star
The Ninja Star has both threaded holes and pass through holes, just like the Toad. You can pass through the Ninja Star, and thread into the toad, as the holes on the bottom of the Ninja Star are countersunk. Or, you can pass through the Toad and thread into the Ninja Star.
Is the centre hole a 3/8" threaded? Trying to find a solution to mount a Movi underslung on our Cinveate Axis jib. We can invert the bowl on the jib, insert our half ball, exposing a 3/8" thread facing down. Would the Ninja attach to that thread and the allow us to mount a Toad to the Ninja? I'm attaching a photo showing a Cinevate star to give you an idea of what we're thinking.
Machined some aluminum today - see attached pics. 3/8" 16 tapped in the centre and 4 M3 taps to fit the toad on the reverse. Should do the trick on the jib - will set it up tomorrow. Our only concern is the top boom on the Movi may not always clear the jib when it's inclined at a steep angle. Would ideally like to find a 3 to 4" riser which would solve the problem by increasing the separation.
