I haven't been able to find any answers on this. What is a roughly good time to aim for to set up the Movi? I am not a Movi Op exclusively, I am looking for a reference. I fly the C100, usually use the Sigma 18-25mm, no follow focus (for now).
It depends on how experienced you are. Give me fully rigged Alexa Mini, I will make it ready to go in 15 minutes but I will ask for 30 minutes prep time at least when I am on the set. If you are setting up the camera for the first time, it might require a bit more time as you will have to tune the gimbal as well. For a naked camera as yours, you should get it ready in 15-20 minutes maximum.
I have a decent amount of experience setting up the Ronin so I wasn't entirely new to this. So far I have hit that time frame so that's a good sign. Thanks.
