I'm looking for motors for my X8 , the all up weight is 25lbs, I was thinking about avroto 3520, or kde,any ideas? Thank so much,
The best thing to do is model it in e-calc and see what the results are. It depends on what you are trying to go for. Some motors and prop combos give you better endurance at lighter weights but don't have as much lifting capacity, others will have good lift but not as much endurance. In the cinestar 8 Thread their is Dave King's build log for a heavy lifter. Someone was getting good results with KDE and 18 inch props.
