This is new to me so please bear with me. How does one set the camera heading for a Cinestar having the tripod landing gear c/w yaw motor cage. Seems to me that the Cinestar with Tripod landing gear c/w yaw motor cage has to be hovering before setting a camera heading. In my case I am experimenting the the BaseCam 32bit 3 Axis BGC. The Yaw PID loop is tuned to handle the momentum of the camera c/w tripod landing gear (and not the airframe). Consequently any attempt to set a heading while landing gear is on the ground will not work. In other word how do the more professional BGC systems handle this dilemma?
