I just got a new GR-24 and bound it, connected it all up. I then went to set up the "SUMO 12". It just would not go to the right screen, the screen wasn't there, and there were alot of screens I didn't recognize. It was showing my Mikrokopter voltage, altitude and GPS coordinates, all kinds of telemetry data, but not the screen I needed. Of course my sticks didn't work because the SUMO needed to be set up first.
When I unplugged the telemetry from the gr-24 and re-powered everything I finally was able to get to "RX servo test" screen.

    Note: Then I found this:

Switch to the menu "RX SERVO TEST" by pressing "right" 5 times.
INFO: If you have clicked to far and you see the MK-Menu you can remove the 1-core telemetry plug from the FC to get back to the page "RX SERVO TEST".

So: You can't get to the "RX Servo test" IF the telemetry is plugged in.....IF you went past it the first time...geeze ...really? lol

The quirks of the Mikrokopter never fail to baffle me. Half a hour wasted....
Perhaps this little tidbit might save you some time and frustration?
