I don't want to set up the M10 every time, so I am looking for a solution how to transport the M10 in such a way, that I can leave the camera on it and have it ready to shoot.

I would not recommend leaving the camera permanently on MoVI.
If you leave the camera built, but remove it from cradle, it takes less than 3 mins to mount and do a quick tilt balance.

maybe that's a good idea, but the former owners of the movie, kept the RED constantly on it. maybe it would be a better idea to take it off, like you suggest.

My logic is, why put all that unneeded stress on the unit? Just a suggestion.

    Cheers,

I see your point, I'll have a chat about it with my seller.
Point is, I do a lot of corporate stuff, where time isn't available, therefor I try to get the easiest and quickest solution for a 'ready to shoot' situation/
