Can anyone share with me what settings need to be changed on the RED for it to show histogram etc through the hdmi port on the back and for it to stay on while recording? I have mine running hdmi from the red to the freefly hdmi converter to 5.8ghz iftron downlink and i can get it to show picture but it shuts off when i push record. Also it doesn't show me any camera settings or info, just the picture itself. Any insight? Thanks
Go to Menu/settings/display/monitor control and change to the Brain HDMI dropdown and set auto hide menus to unselected and make sure mode is set to overlay and overlay is set to Red Overview.

Hi guys, I'm trying to get a video signal trough a kopterworx converter using Bred's settings, with no luck - just black screen The converter works fine with the 5Dm3 and GH4. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Bo I use this HDMI converter http://www.dealsmachine.com/best_212807.html?currency=USD&gclid=CK2rjazM1cQCFefm7AodmTAArg I then hook up a BEC to it to drop the voltage down to power the converter. The HDMI signal does not have enough juice to power the HDMI converter to pass a signal through.
