After lotsa frustration trying to balance my 5d and redrock folo focus combo I went back to basics: stripped everything off and mounted sony A7s with a canon 10-22mm and DP-4 monitor with LP6 batts. Now I can flip the thing over and shoot forever getting much bettter results. The question: has anyone tried using a whip to control a small folo focus from the handles? Any other suggestions (besides Sony auto focus lens, tried that) are much appreciated.
