My Movi is in the mail and will arrive hopefully tomorrow. I sold my Osmo 2. One thing I do really often was to film "from below" or "underslung" (Sorry, my English is very bad) because I have two kids (2 and 4 years old) and filming underslung gives me the ability to film very easy on their height. Without hurting my back ;D

    1. How do you do this with the movie and its u-shape form factor?
    2. Is it possible to mount the movi on a tripod and film with "upside-down"?

I missed that. I was thinking I was going to be clever by rigging up a U-type carrying handle bracket for the Movi. (Skateboader style)
It would make it easier to lock the tilt if the Movi is right side up though.
