Tabb and all Installing and removing the gimbal from the ship is a bit tedious. So imagine with me the following solution: 1. Install the 3mm screws into the alum posts with a certain gap as shown in photo 1. This gap will have to be fixed by either post-assembly loc-tite, or a jam nut. 2. Drill the attachment holes on the camera mount plate so these heads will pass through (5mm+) 3. Make a clip as shown in photo 2. This slides under the heads with small detents to capture the clip on the back screw. 4. With these screws, the spacers connecting the pulley to the plate will have to be enlarged to clear the yaw servo pulley. Any thoughts? Joe
... As an addendum Using the threaded inserts as the jam nut would also sit in the now-larger camera plate hole, eliminating play. Joe
Love it. I've now stripped two of the aluminum standoffs taking the gimbal on and off, so this would really make life easier.
