Do a ton of broadcast sports and shows have been getting more calls to use Movi in live sports or other broadcasts. Have been using Dlsr's for now with signal sent to tv trucks via Bolt 600. Clients want to use something more broadcast friendly with ability to jam info and tech into cam to match truck cams. Anyone have thoughts on a better cam to use on Movi for this? Tried a Sony PW1 but lens choices were way too big and heavy. Using M15. Thanks
FS7 Ill look into, but c300 won't tie into a truck any better then a dslr. Red I dought as well. The engineers are looking for something similar to what they use on trucks. The ability to paint cams as they normally do. The 5Dmk3 I have been using has worked to a point painting wise, but the truck engineers weren't 100% happy with matching it to truck cams.
We are going to try the F-55 with a Link HD TX with telemetry, cam fully wireless controllable by the truck crew. Best , Wolf
Yesterday on the Prolight&Sound fair in Frankfurt we successfully tried a Grass Vally LDX compact camera with Fujinon 4.5-65 zoom lens and Link HDwireless clipon Transmitter on the M-15. The camera was controllable wireless via standard Grass Valley RCP incl. f-stop and focus.
