I need a monitor and all 5" monitors are around 400 nits. Can you see outdoor with SamllHd at sun ? Wich one is the best option? And I don´t want to spend 3000$ in DP7-PRO high bright or similar.
The SmallHD DP4 is pretty darn hard to see in sunlight sadly. A few people have been posting about the new Marshall Monitor that has come out.
Hi Gorka, We are using the Marshall Electronics V-LCD56MD 5.6" with Marshall Sun Hood (which holds pretty well). The monitor has both in/out for HDMI and SDI and the option for more than 10 different battery plates. It has worked really well for us.
Thanks Adolfo. I´m steadicam operator and allways the monitor has been one of the most importat piece of the Rig. If you are blind how are you going to framing? Therefore I can´t understant why the people do not say anything about this. If you enter in Steadicam forum is full of coment about monitors. But the monitor for the movi it has to be lightweight and tiny.
