Hi Guys - does anyone know if its possible to keep the toad attached on the top, and fit the batteries (Tattu 10,000) either side? Therefore speeding up top/bottom switching?
I wouldn't recommend it. The problem is that the battery straps will apply inward pressure on the two batteries. This will cause them to want to press against the Toad, which could cause the batteries to get dented. While this is probably OK, it could cause undue wear. I think there are folks who are doing it, but if you have a good electric screwdriver and the right metric hex bits, it only takes about 60 seconds. The problem, of course, is the risk of losing one or more of those little screws. I always carry spare screws for that reason. You'll still have to remove the handle, either way.
