This I have specially made for the M10 and M15. 2x BNC D-Tap and 1 SDI in at bottom. At the top 1x SDI out and a connection for feeding the Movi. Under the handle 4 additional Dtaps.
Hi, that looks good, the only problem is that you can´t power the M-15/10 with a v-lock battery, since it-s shutting down at 14.5 Volts. These gimbals need a 4S Lipo to work properly. That´s been tried and discussed several times... Best, Wolf
I'm assuming that the v-lock battery may be to power the accessories using the d-taps. At least that's how it looks like it would work to me.
it's made at a small company in the Netherlands for about 800 US. I think only the parts are not for sale http://www.etkon.com
Hi Ben Interesting item you have there. We are based in Belgium and interested in your product. But what Wolf and Shaun telling is something what we also doubt. Can you give us some more information on the powering systems trough the V-lock? Do you power the MoVI as well or only the accessories? Grtz Kevin
Guys, I don't think Ben is trying to power the gimbal with a V-Lock battery. It appears its for the accessories. The design is great because it's putting the weight of the V-Lock battery above the handle bars, which doesn't count towards the M15's max weight of 15 pounds. If you've ever used a Canon 1D-C, BMPC, or other awkward shaped cameras, powering the accessories can be tricky. This design creates a great power solution without adding weight to the gimbal.
