    And all they have to do is comply with the regulation that "a flight plan must be filed with the Russian civil aviation authority and permission obtained from local Russian police and the FSB, the successor to the KGB."

    So if the USA ever hosts the Winter Olympics, by then we'll need to apply to the FAA, the NSA, the CIA, the DHS, the ICE, other TLAs** and the EIEIO***.

    Oh goody.

    Pretty amazing! We shot lots of the NBC promos with US olympic athletes and they tried to get access in Sochi but had zero luck. Awesome that Jean-luc was able to fly at the event!
