The Collins Clamp from Redrock is pretty great: http://store.redrockmicro.com/Catalog/mountinggear/Collins-Clamp.html You may want to pick up a small arm as an intermediary. I've had surprisingly good results from this: http://www.amazon.com/EzFoto-11-Inc...d=1405451210&sr=8-2&keywords=articulating+arm (although you should throw that 15mm clamp in the trash right away. Also, I've heard that the arm's quality may be inconsistent from purchase to purchase).
Thank you both. Jason, how does your LWS rod adapters tie into the camera plate? Assuming it does tie into the camera plate...
Small thumbscrews are provided which interface with the camera plate. That way the assembly is completely tool-less. I'll provide a pic:
Mine does not have any screw holes in the very front. All holes are on the top of the plate. Will that work?
Not sure what monitor you're using, but I bought a SmallHD DP4 bundle that included a great little ball mount unit. See attached pic. It works a treat. Garry
