My video was just to show how much the copter shake, the gimbal isn´t the problem. just the copter shake so much... when you park the copter at one place in the air it will shake always al little bit. When you fly straight up in the air it is heavy
It isnt a problem from the gimbal, the copter shakes so much. when i stay at one point it ist a little bit a few centimeter but, for example, when i fly straight forward it is so much bigger. I never had problems with mikrokopter and i think wookong usaly also didn't hase these problems
Hey guy´s also i have tested the last days again my wkm settings with no result. All things i have tested has no result. It is very shaky. Hase some one any idea what it could be. I think it couldn´t be the cog setting. I have teste in 1cm steps all setting with no result. some one any idea? Here my esc typ and my card settings
Ok Philipp, i unterstand your problem... Change your ESC and fly with Reflashed SimonK' s ESC. These maytech aren't for "multi" use, only Castle Creation or SimonK reflashed ESC are really optimised for Multi-Rotors...(WKM Users....) Look at this video and you will unterstand what i mean...
Read this Philipp and you' ll unterstand... http://wiki.openpilot.org/display/Doc/RapidESCs Best. Marc.
Hey Marc, thats very interesting but i have reader now many about Maytech Write also that the ESC are Perfect for Multirotor Aplications. Here Is a picture of my config. I think there Is a Problem. http://img717.imageshack.us/i/imageyip.jpg/
There is not a special problem with your ESC Program but i tell you again Maytech, Turnigy, Hobbywing and others aren't well made to run for multi-rotors. I have try ESC like Maytech, Turnigy plush...With Wookong-M and no others execpt "Castle Creation ESC" give far far better résult than Reflashed SimonK ESC, if you run 12 poles motors these just give you perfect results with DJI Autopilot system. The Flashed ESC have no need to be programed, they have just a perfect linear curve response from 0 to 100% power, wookong do the rest...
Okay i understand! i will Buy eight ESC from hobbyking (Rb70a) this will work with the Hack? Could it be that i Not calibrate the throttle Position?
I can give you a serious adress to have 70amps Red Brick Opto reflashed or if you prefer, you have the 40 Amps Rc Timer pré-flashed... http://www.rctimer.com/index.php?gOo=goods_details.dwt&goodsid=781&productname= Hope this help you.. Marc.
Thanks Marc, I think it will be very helpfull! I Check the calibration tomorrow. Is the red brick i Post Not Good ore can i Not Flash it? I like Hobby very mich they have also an Programming adapter
Hi Guys, today i have calibrate my throttle position and now the kopter sound very divergent. The Motors are spinning not so much when i start. Also the ist the problem that the copter is shaky. I think it is not so much but specially when i fly backwards and down. I think the copter is after the calibration more stable but not enough. Her is again the picture of my esc config. it is right that the timing is "low" i use QC3328 Motors Thanks ahead
Hi Philipp, Im using the same Maytech 40A V1 optos on a new cs8 build.. mine are set to high timing & cut off voltage at 2.8v, at 16khz, (you have to go through the tx menu to find the 16khz setting ).. working great on the bench but not had it in the air yet, but im running 14pole 3515/400kv motors. Waiting for my replacement WKM MC before i can commence flight testing.
Hi Mark, could u now test setup? I do some flights today an the copter is also Not so stable. I will change the Timing to High and will See how it Works. Which props do you use?
Going to be testing the Xoar 14 x 5, & the APC 14 x 4.7 ..did changing to 16ghz & high timing make any difference?
No. I think i will do this tommorow. I now also bought xoar 12/5 and will Check these props. But i think it have to work also with 14/5
Hi Mar hi marc, where can i buy the Red Brick 70 amp ESC already reflashed? i see them in hobbyking, but they ara stock settings,.... not reflashed..... do i have to send them to simon to reflashed them? thanks for your time daniel
Daniel, This will help you with re-flashing if your thinking of going down the Red Brick road...lol ..A much cheaper alternative to 8 x CC Ice, but requires a little work. http://forum.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=27195
Hello WKM / CS8 users, I'm looking for some help and guidance. After 3 very bad (and .GXP unexplained ) crashes... I'm also looking to divest our CS8 from the Mikrokopter electronics, and move to the DJI-WKM I have on our shelf. My plan is to keep the CS8 frame and parts. Phoenix Ice Lite 50a or SimonK Multicopter Speed Controller ESC 40A ( but was looking at Red Brick 70A Flashed SimonK) New 4mm motor wire connectors needed ? What do you use ? WK-M single waypoint ( for now ) 2 paralleled 6200mAh 4s packs ( we have 10 batts) QuadroCopter QC-3328 motors (for now). APC 14x4.7 props (have19 in stock) until we switch to XOAR 14x5 (or 12x5 pending motor upgrades) 360/Radian/2nd user ( independent system of course) Check out the custom lasercut plexi ( soon to be CF ) mounting plate for CS8 to WK-M. IMU is perfectly centered, Compass is 130mm back off Vertical, on Horizontal centerline. Took about 25-30min to draw them up in Rhino3d, Then sent them over to my Lasercutter, had parts in hand in less than 3 hours. Next version will also have CS6 mounts. Can you please explain the "esc config jumper board" below ? ( forgive me, I think i missed some info) Thanks in advance
