Hello, newbie here. Can any one advise if the Radian will drive a dc motor through a normal rc reversing speed controller? ie, like a servo amplifier drives it's motor? Obviously though with no feedback pot or potential divider in the circuit.? Thanks.
Hi Philip: I very much doubt that the Radian can do that -- it's output to the servo is a pulse width modulated signal. However, if JohnC reads this thread (the designer of the Radian), he'll be able to answer your question with more authority than I can. Andy.
Well the input signal to a rc speed controller is also pulse width length. So I'm hoping the answer will be yes.
Oh. Sorry. I read "dc motor" and didn't pick up on the "rc speed reversing motor." Duh. The decaf hasn't kicked in yet today. In which case, the answer is the one we use in the software business: It should work. Andy.
