Hi guys, Have just ordered the Epic V-lock adapter kit and excited about greater run times. http://store.freeflysystems.com/collections/movi-accessory/products/epic-vlock-adapter-kit , Just wondering what batteries everyone is running with this set up.??? Obviously thickness of battery is critical! I'm looking at these from Global Media Pro http://www.globalmediapro.com/dp/A2...HW-R-Lithium-ion-Battery-95WH-for-Red-Camera/ Anyone running these on an Epic on the M10? Any other suggestions? cheers wes
I've been running IDX Endura 9's on it, seems to work well and gives me plenty of run time, I can balance it with RT motion FF, iris and focus.
Mark is it this model: http://www.abelcine.com/store/IDX-ENDURA-E-HL9S-88Wh-Li-ion-V-Mount-High-Load-Battery/ Anyone know where to find them in stock?
Hi there, We were using these ENDURA-HL9: http://www.videogear.co.uk/Batterie...od_1801.html?gclid=CMjA0oPo_7sCFSgUwwod2moA6Q, An epic with a v-loc on the side is a fairly heavy load to use for long periods on the MoVI but we got good run times out of the camera and FF using these and were able to Balance the camera without too many problems. I daresay that there are other batteries that work too the IDX 7's were too small capacity for us so we went with the HL-9 and were happy with them. Hope that helps M
Has anyone tried using the new IDX duo 95 batteries or the switronixx hypercore 98 on the Movi m15? They are only slightly larger than the endura HL9
