Where to locate the S/N for the Cinestar 8?

    Hi, would anyone know where to locate the S/N for the Cinestar 8? Required for the exemption paperwork. Thanks

    Hi George the Cinestar, as far as I know does not have a serial number. Perhaps you could engrave your own...

    George i have never seen a serial number on the Cinestar but Mk stuff has serial numbers on it

    George suggestion would be to have a small label made and put it on the hub. You can make up the serial number since as mentioned there are no numbers on the parts. One insurance company even sends out a set of numbered labels to their policy holders to put on the copter.

    This is no different than a home built aircraft where the builder makes up their own data plate with a serial number.

    Aloha guys, much thanks for your kind advice. Gary, I'll look into my insurance company and see if they have one to give me. Or it would be fun, Sam, to come up with my own. Thanks

    Suggestion would be to use a sticker. Engraving carbon fibre is pretty much never seen. Depending on depth you may be cutting in the the fibre threads reducing strength and introducing a possible fault/stress point.
