When you don't need them, do you remove the pan counterweight? Is it okay to keep it on when switching to minimal Phone/MCR setup?

Also in you experience do we need to calibrate always or just keep it in Plus mode?

    Thanks in advance

I haven't tried leaving the pan weight on. But it usually is only needed with the extra weight of lenses. You should adjust Tuning to normal if shooting with just a phone on the gimbal. You may notice your MCR going into jitters otherwise. Same is true if you have a significant setup and leave it in normal mode. I'm using an iPhone X.

Yeah the crazy shaking is scary. Was thinking of just keeping at plus mode always. I can usually get away with no counterweights with my iPhone XS Max and a clip on Variable ND on just plus mode but maybe I am doing it wrong.
