Anyone by an M15 without the receiver and if so what receiver did you get and how do you install it? Externally? is power provided?

Mike only the Spectrum SPM9645 DSMX Remote Receiver, commonly known as a satellite receiver, will work with the small connecting wire you reported on another thread. See Andy's response to your question. With a Spectrum transmitter like the DX7 or DX8 you will be able to bind (connect the RX to the TX so that they talk) using the MoVI GUI.

The SPM9645 would be mounted to the back or side of the control box using double side tape.

Power is provided through the MoVi to the RX.

An alternative to the Spektrum is the systems from Futaba like the 10CG or 7C. Using those with a Futaba R6202SBW RX. If you go that route then the small cable you see on the M15 wouldn't be used. There is another 3 pin 'servo' connect available for connecting to the Futaba RX.

You can see some of the information on page O3-P27 for the mapping of the controls. Section O4 discuses remote use using the Spectrum as the example.

Thank you. I always used it as an extension and had no idea it was also a full blown receiver.
