There have been a lot of GPX files posted on the forum that show errors and other anomalous behavior, so I thought I'd post one that shows what a "nominal" flight looks like. IMHO the variation in current draws and temperatures will never be perfectly even, so I would submit that this flight shows that they can be uneven, but still within a healthy range. Of note with this file:

Copter is a stock Cinestar 8, 2-Axis gimbal with 2 Radians on tilt and roll, Canon 5D Mark III with 17-40L lens. Batteries are 2x8000mAh Quadropowers plus a 1200mAh LiPo for the Radians. Copter AUW is about 14.8 lbs.

Here is the summary. The full GPX file is attached below. I welcome your questions and comments.

Please note that this is in *F and NOT *C like it will be by default. If you have those numbers in *C for your temps you have BIG issues. :D

Thanks for uploading this. It definitely gives some of us a good reference point.
I have a quick question tho. I noticed that you are running FC SW 0.88n and NC SW 0.28o. I remember reading somewhere a while ago that the letter should match. Did you notice any issues when upgrading your firmware?
    Thanks again for the upload.

    Cris,
These were the current firmwares as of 6 months or so ago. I have not upgraded to the latest. And the firmwares matched when I did them.

What should match, according to MK, is the least significant digit: 0.88n and 0.28o. That's because there are internal data structures that are transmitted back and forth via the I2C bus between the MK boards and the structures have to be the same on both the FC and NC boards. There are internal version numbers on these structures so you will get an error message if you try to mix'n'match inappropriate versions.

    Andy.

Thank you Andy. I knew I read something a while back. Guess I was slightly off on what's supposed to match. :)

Here’s another good flight IMHO. Notice the close numbers of both current and temperatures. It's rather mild here (~58°F) and I was lollygagging around doing some video (no fast movements) but the performance of the bird is spot on these days. I did climb (slowly) to 120m or so, though. Very happy!
