Vertical Oscillations

    Sorry sure it's here in the forum but running against the clock.

    I'm getting crazy vertical oscillations. It seems they come in when I descend and stay and won't go away.

    What setting should I be changing to get rid of these.

    Rory: Just to clarify, are you saying that the whole ALTA is oscillating up and down? Or, as you descend is it "wallowing" (rolling back and forth?)

    Lower your vertical stiffness

    Yeah it's diffinatly an oscillation. My vertical stiffness is at 16 and the default is 20 isn't it?
    I was getting drop in forward flight so rised the stiffness but now get the ocillations.
    Is there a way to get acceptable drop in forward flight without getting the ocillations?

    The vertical stiffness default got lowered from 20 to 12 on a service bulletin. Give that a go!
