Got my BL 3.0 board nearly a year ago. Never updated but my C8 with FC and NC on 2.06 does indeed fly like a dream I have read what Holger says about the benefits of uppgrading the BL´s, but how much does the uppgrading really improve flight?? If it aint broken dont fix it ;-)
As I recall, the update deals with some specific situations when high current was causing problems -- so I don't think it necessarily improves flight, but it corrects some specific failures/bugs/mistakes/features. Andy.
Do you know what version you're using now? What what motors do you have? There have been specific issues that Holger's been addressing having to do with certain motors and general reliability. Consensus is that the later versions are better if you have one of the affected motors, or are running near the high end of the BL 3.0's capabilities.
