Is this possible and if so how do you do it? Anyone do it?

I believe all that is required is that you power it on inverted and it will stabilize in that position, Adam. That's going from memory from an earlier posting -- so apologies in advance if I am mis-remembering....

Thanks guys. So what you are saying is have it balances and make sure it's inverted and then power on? It won't cause any damage will it? I am going to upgrade to the M15 but would be nice not to run around with my arms always extended in the air. I get tired too fast. lol!

Yes, with Gary's confirmation, that's how you do it. You will not harm the gimbal, but you may develop new muscles you did not know you had. :)

Also, be sure your pan knuckle is tight (but not so tight you strip it out!). Until the dual pan bars of the M15, a heavy-ish rig can slip a little if things aren't sufficiently tight.
