    Hey guys,

So I've attached my allied drones QR plate to the top of the MoVI so I can go between handheld and MR mode really quickly. The problem is when I have the handheld bars on with the plate the forward position in majestic mode is about 45 degrees out from where it should be.

I'm not sure what the plate would make a difference to this but is there a way I can correct the pan trim that much and keep it there???

Thanks guys, need this for monday night!

Photo shows where the camera sits in relation to the top handles when in handheld majestic mode. (take no notice of the legs)

I've discovered that the reason behind it is because the square plate that attaches to the original MoVI handles is perfectly placed. My QR plate is offset because of it's screw holes. I need to change the pan trim.

    Help...

Photo 2 is where the handles sit.
Photo1 is where I need the handles to sit.

All trims on the handset are correct. This is only happening in majestic mode. Once in dual mode I can adjust the pan trim but switch to majestic mode it goes back to the photos.

    Thanks!

    Hi Sam,

There is no ability to offset pan in the current firmware. There will be a provision for this in a future release but not before your shoot.

    Thanks

Sam I have the same setup and what you are seeing is normal. You are correct that it points between boom 1 and 2, 22.5 degrees to the right. Have you asked Allied Drone if they can modify the mounting plate with a rotated hole pattern?

    Tabb,
That answers my question thank you. When can we expect a provision?

    Gary,
No I haven't asked allied drone. It would take too long to explain to them what I need. I'll head into the workshop in the morning and make my own aluminium plate. Unless you see a problem with this? Weight issue?

    Really appreciate it guys!

Sam, you could think about changing the settings of your copter to change the front. Don't really know how to explain, but I think with an MK board you can set the direction of the front boom, no? Don't know how comfortable it would be to fly though and if you'd need to change your orientation marks on the copter in case you have some.

    Hey Gary,

It's just the same as the allied drones plate with the screw holes moved round a few degrees.
I'll send some pics when I'm back in the workshop.
