    Hello,

Getting a new config going for our heavy lifter with show stopping issues.

Running brand new M10 battery to:
    M10 without handlebars - 2.7 pounds
    Epic Dragon - 5 pounds
    RT Motion RX+2 motors - >.75 pound
    Lens - 1.8 pounds
    Paralinx Tomahawk TX - 7oz

This should and occasionally does run the above for approx. 20 min...more than enough to cover our needed flight time.

Most of the time however, all gear works perfectly except M10 which will not stay "engaged" and flashes 1 green LED.

Total weight is certainly under 12 pound ceiling though lens is a tad long and heavy.

Camera shows 14v...metering battery directly shows 15v+

Any thoughts are most welcome...thank you.

Paul check the balance and make sure it is spot on. Do you have a LiPo checker to validate that the battery is really fully charged? It's possible if it is fully charged that it has an issue and isn't getting a full amperage charge. It could show proper voltage but have no amps to drive the load on the motors.

Thank you kindly Gary...I did use a checker but think there could be something up with one of the cells. What does a flashing red light on the standard Freefly Lipo Charger mean?

What would the symptoms be if I was overloading the gimbal? I remember a shoot last year where I had Vmount + FIZ and M10 would periodically just give up and go limp...don't remember if or what flashing lights I got back then...

I'll be testing very thoroughly tomorrow and will report back...thanks again!

Paul the flashing light means one the cells is not good or the plug is not in all the way

And you are correct on the limp. If there isn't enough juice (amps) left to drive the motors they will go offline. Might be fine when doing slow moves and then you do a quick whip and they don't have anything left to give.

So it appears I'm asking too much of the M10 battery somehow...can anyone confirm this? The battery seems to deliver the voltage and watt hours but perhaps not the amperage required to handle Epic, M10, FIZ & TX?

Pity that would've been a great set up!

Any thoughts as to where most people mount that 2nd battery? I'm leaning towards putting it on top of the 1st one's cage. Also I'm hanging the video TX off the back of the M10 where the antenna and power switch are...any downsides to this approach ya think?

    Many thanks,
