Are you comfortable breaking down the copter (removing all the booms, etc.)? None of these cases can hold a fully-assembled Cinestar. I have a pick 'n pluck foam setup I did for one of my Pelican 1620 cases (from my photo gear) that worked great the one time so far that I've traveled with the copter.

Chris, that looks pretty sturdy, like an Anvil case. Do you know if that price include molded foam, or is it a "pick 'n pluck" kind of deal?

Steve. I know for a fact it included foam, but can't remember if it was molded or P&P. They also said it was airline approved for shipping. Either way, I'd imagine our machines would be quite safe and cozy.

To add to that...we'd have to contact QC and see if they would give us some help with exact dimensions (possibly a dummied down CAD drawing just showing dimensions for a proper build).

Turnaround time on the company I mentioned above is one week or less.

I'd love to see what the finished product looks like. Did you order one?

Not yet, but I plan on it. Hopefully in a month or so. Nothing associated with this biz (oops...dismiss that statement Mr. FAA, I mean hobby) is cheap!
